I won't be commenting too much on the decor or lighting on this one. We were in a room for one purpose and one purpose only, to consume mass amounts and watch the Superbowl. The staff was very friendly and attentive despite how slammed they were with the football crowd.
Their menu included side ribs, beef rib tips, wings, pulled pork, potato salad and mac and cheese. The kitchen did a great job keeping up with the demand that came from the "all you can eat" challenge. The ribs were pretty standard, but had a nice smokey flavor to them. I've never had beef rib tips before but they were addictive. Picture a tender and saucy beef jerky. The wings were very meaty and had an awesome flavor to them. I couldn't put my finger on it, and I don't think it was listed anywhere. If I had to guess it was probably their Jerk Sauce, but either way I definitely recommend giving them a go if you like heat. I think the pulled pork probably stole the show for the meats. It was perfect combo of tangy, sweet and smokey. They claim to have "famous" mac and cheese, and I'd say it's pretty accurate. It added a nice smooth balance for the palate after all of the smokey BBQ and tangy sauces. The event was a perfect opportunity to check out their spread. In the brew department they have a nice selection of micro and craft brewed beers (especially a wide range of Mill St.). I'm starting to find that a very welcomed trend in specialty restaurants now. Gives the customer an opportunity to really try new stuff.
There's not much else I can say other than go and check it out for yourself! It was a good night, with great food and great company and the only thing I can think of that was disappointing was....well......
